Full Time Roles

➢ Collaborate with designers and editorial departments on research and editing of stories with subject matter including fashion, travel, news and popular culture

- Work with different departments on special sections and projects, including:

• Collector's Editions: Beyoncé, Princess Diana, Fantastic Beasts, Star Wars, etc.
• Inside Hollywood: The Greatest Celebrity Photos from Us Weekly
• Rolling Stone Rock & Roll Yearbook
• Rolling Stone Rock Trivia

➢ Assign and produce photo shoots for beauty, fitness, still life and lifestyle features, including collaborating with photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists
➢ Work closely with prop stylist and in-house photographer to produce compelling photos for the recurring section 'What's In My Bag'
➢ Research photos for various stories and features using agencies, stock houses and Media Grid, a database that hosts over 300,000 new images per week
➢ Source up-and-coming photographers and stylists, as well as maintaining established relationships
➢ Collaborate with editors and designers to create stories with dynamic, colorful photographs

➢ Assign and produce photo shoots for the front section of the magazine, including reportage, portrait, and live concert photography, within a set budget
➢ Research photos for both breaking news stories and feature-length profiles using agencies, stock houses, archival photography and personal collections
➢ Select and edit celebrity photos for use in 'Random Notes' section using Media Grid, a database that hosts over 300,000 new images per week
➢ Source up-and-coming photographers as well as maintain relationships with established ones
➢ Collaborate with editors, designers and website team to execute stories with dynamic, colorful photographs
➢ Negotiate fees and usage of images

➢ Manage image syndication from premieres and high profile events on deadline and onsite. Events include the Academy Awards, Grammys, Golden Globes and exclusive after-event parties
➢ Oversee completion of research requests and projects for various publications
➢ Coordinate special event and award show coverage
➢ Maintain and update DAM and photo archives
